With Gili Trawangan being the largest of the three Islands, it could be described as being the most complete. There is a wide choice of accommodation and restaurant options, as well as bars and clubs to choose from. The main demographic is of a younger visitors group due to Gili Trawangan’s deserved party reputation. However, with it being the most developed of the three islands, people of all ages can find live music and entertainment options at, at least one of the many bars and restaurants Gili T hosts.

Prices for food and accommodation are the most varied on this island and you can find accommodation with air conditioning for as little as 150,000 a night and local food for 30,000 a plate. In Gili T’s higher end accommodation and dining options you can find private villas with swimming pools and freshly caught scallops, lobster and fillet steak.

There are no cars or motorbikes on any of the Gili islands so rent a bicycle and you can cycle around the entire island in about an hour, visiting the different beaches along the way. Along the main beach lined strip, close to the harbour you will find bars and restaurants as well as dive shops. On the opposite side of the island you will find the luxury resorts with their private beaches and restaurants.
